Growth Potencial of the Kingdom of God
Introduction: Matthew 13:10-13 "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand." Christ had just taught a multitude the parable of the sower whereafter He and His disciples have the conversation cited above. Christ then shares 4 parables with His disciples: the parable of the sower and then 3 parables where Christ makes comparisons to the kingdom of heaven. The parable of the grain of mustard see is the second of these "kingdom of heaven" parables.
Matthew 13:31-32 "Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a agrain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the abirds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof."
What am I doing to help the Kingdom of God grow?
